The 185 km road trip takes 2 hours. However, it could take longer if the visitor stops at every sight in Fitzgerald River National Park. This park is known for its rugged beauty, rich flora, and fauna.

Lucky Bay is a beautiful, scenic beach to the south of Cape Le Grand. Local wildlife usually visits this beautiful beach. You may be able to see local kangaroos hopping along the shoreline of Lucky Bay. However, it would be best if you left them alone and only observe from afar.

If you are not driving, then Lucky Bay Brewery is a great place to refresh and sample local craft beer.

You can also do the reverse trip from Esperance back to Albany. This will allow you to see all the sights you missed on the first road trip.
