The Sustainable Tourism Cooperative Research Centre (STCRC) is a world leading scientific institution dedicated to delivering research to support a dynamic, internationally competitive and sustainable tourism industry.
Throughout each Australian State and Territory the STCRC integrates its sustainable tourism mission by conducting research, developing practical and usable tools and technologies, and integrating research outcomes with education and training programs that develop the knowledge and skills required to implement sustainable tourism principles.
ARTRC
The Australian Regional Tourism Research Centre is a partnership between the Sustainable Tourism Cooperative Research Centre (STCRC) and Southern Cross University (SCU), managed by a Board representing the two partners and the Australian Regional Tourism Network.
Based on the Lismore campus of Southern Cross University, the ARTRC delivers a broad range of services to regional Australia including identifying and pursuing relevant research agenda; a gateway for dissemination of regional tourism research; encouraging professional development in regional tourism; facilitating regional perspectives to STCRC research programs and the establishment of an Indigenous advisory facility.
